BALTDEFCOL is hosting several events on 15th December

Ceremony for the induction of Mr. Romualds Ražuks, Member of the Latvian Parliament into BALTDEFCOL´s Hall of Fame
Graduation of BALTDEFCOL´s Civil Servants Course 2016

On 15th December the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) will host the following events:

Mr. Raimonds Bergmanis, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Latvia will visit BALTDEFCOL at Riia Str. 12 for the first time. He will be briefed from 09:00 to 10:30 on the mission, courses, future development and international cooperation of the college and participate as well in the other events of the day.

Mr. Romualds Ražuks will be inducted as fourth high-level graduate of a BALTDEFCOL course into the Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place from 10:45 to 11:05 in BALTDEFCOL´s premises at Riia Street 12. The Hall of Fame was established in 2015 to honour graduates who have distinguished themselves in their military and/or civilian careers and reached high level positions. Mr. Ražuks is a graduate of the Higher Command Studies Course 2004. He will also attend the graduation ceremony in the afternoon.

From 13:30 to 15:30, the graduation ceremony for seven students of the Civil Servants Course 2016 from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will take place in the White Hall of Tartu´s University History Museum. Representatives addressing the students will be Mr Bergmanis representing Latvia, Mr. Erki Kodar, Undersecretary of Legal and Administrative Affairs of the Estonian Ministry of Defence and Dr. Karolis Aleksa, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence.
