Visit of Estonian School of Diplomacy Delegation

On the last day of October, the Baltic Defence College hosted students and colleagues from the Estonian School of Diplomacy.

Fourteen students from the School came to receive a guided tour of the College facilities and attend talks from Col Jean Trudel, Dr Kevin Blachford and Col (ret) Clirim Toci. The Diplomacy students were informed of the aims and vision of the College, the role of military education and the work of the Department of Politics and Strategic Studies.

Despite both institutions being situated in Estonia this is the first visit from the School of Diplomacy to the College here in Tartu. The experience shows the importance of collaboration and cooperation between security and diplomacy, and heralds a new chapter in closer cooperation on education within Estonia.
