Official visit to the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces

On 13th October, the Wroclaw Brigadier General Dariusz Skorupka, the Commandant of General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces (MULF) hosted the official visit of the Baltic Defence College delegation led by Major General Andis Dilāns. BG Skorupka and leadership of the MULF provided a brief about tasks, organization and faculty of MULF, as well as about ongoing structural changes.

The discussion focused on the cooperation within academic endeavours. Both sides expressed an interest in developing it in the future, including an opportunity for MULF to be a partner for the Annual Conference on Russia in 2018 by providing speakers for respective panels. The BALTDEFCOL delegation was introduced to the MULF hall of tradition, library, educational facilities, and the Simulation Centre presenting options to use it by BALTDEFCOL students in the future.

The visit was concluded by a lecture by MG Dilāns titled “Challenges for Security of the Baltic Region” for faculty and students of MULF military courses.
