This was followed by a roundtable seminar, led by James Rogers, Acting Dean, which included topics on the United Kingdom and the Wider Baltic; Baltic States perspectives on Russia; the importance of the Wider Baltic in Russia’s grand strategy and also an overview of the Annual Conference on Russia.

The ACSC is a 46-week residential course run at the Joint Services Command and Staff College at the Defence Academy. The course provides professional education covering a wide spectrum of military defence and security issues for a select cadre of UK and international military and civilian officers.

The aim of the ACSC is to prepare selected military and civilian officers for senior positions by developing their analytical, decision-making and communication skills through the study of military, defence, political and international affairs.
