Seminar on Civil-Military Relations

The Baltic Defence College in cooperation with the University of Tartu organized a seminar on Civil-Military Relations on the 14th of November 2016. The seminar was facilitated by the distinguished guest speaker from U.S. Naval War College, Dr Rebecca L. Schiff. During that academic event the main focus was on the Concordance Theory and its application to nations worldwide.

Participants included students from the University of Tartu, the Baltic Defence College and beyond, as well as people from the defence institutions of Latvia and Estonia. The seminar demonstrated great cooperation potential between the Baltic Defence College and the University of Tartu bringing forth the benefits of engaging with people outside of purely academic circles.
