Visit by Colonel Jens Sund, Chief of Danish Home Guard School

On 22nd of February, Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) hosted a visit by Colonel Jens Sund, Chief of Danish Home Guard School.

The visit started with an office call with the Commandant of BALTDEFCOL, Major General Andis Dilāns. COL Sund reiterated the Danish Home Guards long-standing tradition of supporting the College and presented possible opportunities toward renewed cooperation.

Afterwards, COL Sund visited the College premises and discussed educational issues with the faculty and students of BALTDEFCOL. During his visit, he also had a possibility to observe briefings provided by students during the in-house exercise Joint Resolve 2018.

In the afternoon, COL Sund took part of the reception held on the occasions of the 19th Anniversary of the Baltic Defence College, the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Estonia and the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Lithuania.
