Team Building Tours

The tradition of the Baltic Defence College of holding Team Building events was also continued with the new HCSC 2008 and AICSC 2008 in the first week of studies.

The students of the HCSC and the Directing Staff members involved in the course were on a one-day team building tour on 7 August. The tour began with a visit to Forest Adventure Park in Otepää where students and staff members could put their physical abilities to test. The tour moved on to Kääriku Leisure and Sports Center in Otepää where the students and staff members got more acquainted to each other while barbequing and taking sauna. The tour culminated with a visit to the Tartu Aviation Museum where the students could see about 300 high-quality kits of the aircrafts essential from the point of view of the aviation history.

The Team Building of AICSC 2008 was hold in the Agricultural Museum at the edge of Tartu City on 6 August. The event was attended by new students of AICSC, the Support Staff and the Directing Staff of the College. The main idea of the event was to help syndicate members become acquainted with each other in a relaxing environment, and for the Directing Staff to become familiar with the students and vice versa. The day consisted of different practical exercises for creating group unity.
