The goal of the position is to manage information throughout the information lifecycle in different outlets (internal, newsletters, social media, media etc.).

  • Manages information from all sources throughout the information lifecycle regardless of its source or format (data, paper, social media, audio, video) for delivery through multiple channels to one or more audiences on a daily basis.  
  • Develops, maintains and implements BALTDEFCOL´s information and knowledge management policy, working practices and regulations. 
  • Develops and implements Public Affairs strategies and plans.  
  • Develops promotional material procurement and distribution plans.  
  • Develops and implements document handling and task tracking procedures.  
  • Develops and implements procedures for the effective storage of and access to information.  
  • Produces and edits reports, publications, newsletters and website contents.  
  • Manages the use of BALTDEFCOL´s social media presence incl. contents and answers to requests.  
  • Organizes and coordinates training and advice to BALTDEFCOL personnel on the use of information systems in coordination with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Manages information for annual Conference on Russia and Baltic Military History Conference. 
  • Manages the project for BALTDEFCOL 25th Anniversary. 

  • Academic degree in Information Management or related fields;  
  • IT skills above the usual familiarity with MS-Office;  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills;  
  • Strong team-working and networking skills;  
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint, Microsoft 365 and Photoshop are bonus features 
  • Language: English and Estonian (Proficient user: C1 or a comparable language performance profile).
