Visit by the US National Defence University

On 20 June 2011 BALTDEFCOL had the pleasure to welcome the delegation of the US National Defence University. The delegation included the Dean of the NDU, Dr. Mary McCully, the Director of the NDU, Dr. Robert Childs, and the Executive Vice President of the AFCEA International, Becky Nolan. The aim of the visit was to discuss possible areas of support to the College such as the academic programme, faculty development, research, faculty exchange and publications. At the same time the parties also discussed the possibilities of cooperation concerning library and ADL, and sharing of databases. The outcome of the day was positive and the cornerstone for the cooperation between US NDU and BALTDEFCOL has been set.
