Visit of the British Management Consulting Service Team

5th-9th May 2003

A team, led by Commander David Clarke, Royal Navy and including Lieutenant Colonels Paddy Clarke, Royal Artillery and Jonathan Knowles, Royal Logistic Corps from the United Kingdom Defence Management Consultancy Service visited the Baltic Defence College from 5th-9th May 2003.

The team's task was to independently review the staff structure of the college in the light of the courses the college presently runs, the other activities it undertakes and the process of staff "baltification" in order to make recommendations and offer advice with regard to a sound staff structure to carry the college into the future. The team's work was jointly funded by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence and the Baltic Defence College.

After initial meetings with the leadership of the college, the team undertook extensive discussions with other staff members in all departments and students in order that their review should be as widely based as possible. The team presented initial findings to the college leadership prior to their departure and will present a formal report to the college in the near future.
