Visit by Estonian Commander of the Defence Forces

Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) was honoured by the visit of Estonian Commander of the Defence Forces, Major General Riho Terras on 1 September.

High level guest was welcomed by BALTDEFCOL Commandant, Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras. Major General V. Vaikšnoras briefed Estonian CHOD shortly about College Vision 2020- Military Leadership of the Future, and its place in military education system.

Main focus of the brief was to inform about the challenges that College faces as an international military education institution. Several aspects of current as well as future engagements were discussed.

Major General R. Terras was in BALTDEFCOL in the framework of a working visit to Estonian National Defence College in Tartu.
