Description
The International Project
Management Association (IPMA) Level C and Level B Project Management Certification
Course is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required
for effective project management across various organizational contexts. This
course combines an extensive pre-course self-study preparation (minimum 40
hours) with 5 days of in-classroom theoretical instruction, practical case
studies, and group activities to foster a deeper understanding of project
processes, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The course is aimed at
aspiring project managers and professionals seeking to enhance their project
competencies. A structured pathway to achieving the certification of IPMA Level
C or Level B Project Manager is provided.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
- Understand the core competencies detailed in the IPMA Competence Baseline ICB4 for effective project management.
- Apply best project, program, and portfolio management practices to real-world situations.
- Develop strategies to excel in the IPMA certification exam, enhancing professional credentials.

Administration
Costs and exam: BALTDEFCOL provides the training materials and training itself; however, participating institutions are required to cover the costs of the IPMA certification exam (Level B – 1600 EUR, Level C – 1100 EUR) administered by IPMA Latvia, to be organized in mid-April.
Each participant will receive an IPMA international PM
certificate upon passing the exam.
Security Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Costs: There is no course fee, but participants are to bear the cost of their travel, meals and lodging.
Dress Code: Military personnel—Field Uniforms; Civilians—Casual
Upon finishing the course, each participant will receive a certificate.
