Visit of officers from the Czech Armed Forces 3rd Task Force Baltic Air Policing 2019

On 12.December officers from the Czech Armed Forces 3rd Task Force Baltic Air Policing 2019 in Estonia visited the Joint Command and General Staff Course in order to listen to the presentation delivered by Dr Sofiya Fedyna about Hybrid security and defence reality: Ukrainian case. Additionally the officers were introduced to BALTDEFCOL activities.

Visit of MG Joe Jarrad, the Deputy Commanding General for Army National Guard, USAREUR

On 12 December MG Joe Jarrad, the Deputy Commanding General for Army National Guard, USAREUR, visited the BALTDEFCOL as part of JCGSC academic activities. MG Jarrad delivered a lecture to the JCGSC 2019-2020 on “Role of USAREUR in synchronizing security cooperation activities." MG Jarrad also participated on an office call with Acting Commandant COL (CAN A) Jean Trudel whereupon he was introduced BALTDEFCOL activities.

BALTDEFCOL at Chiefs of Transformation Conference

This week Commandant of the Baltic Defence College MG Andis Dilans and College Sergeant Major Peeter Einbaum are participating in Chiefs of Transformation Conference (COTC) in Norfolk Virginia which is organised by the NATO Allied Command of Transformation (ACT). The topic of the conference is "NATO Warfare Development: Innovation and Interoperability - Winning Tomorrow's War Today" and concentrating on changing security and educational/training requirements.

Vistit of CMSGT Philip L. Easton

Baltic Defence College was today honoured by the vistit CMSGT Philip L. Easton, CSEL US EUCOM, who after following Senior Leaders Course and Pilot CSEL Course Concluding Panel: "Détente Beyond Deterrence: what conditions for meaningful diplomacy?" visited BALTDEFCOL presmises in Tartu. 

Besides an office call with COS Jean Turdel,  CMSGT Easton also engaged in active discussion concerning the BALTDEFCOL Command Senior Enlisted Leader’s Course.
