1st Annual Baltic Conference on Defence: Road to Transformation Summit

On 1-2 June 2006, Baltic Defence College hosted the first Annual Baltic Conference on Defence (ABC/D), entitled “Road to Transformation Summit” and organised by the ministries of defence of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as well as the BALTDEFCOL. The conference focused on the issues pertaining to military transformation and the agenda of NATO Summit in Riga, Latvia.

We are pleased to present the proceedings of the conference to broader audiences. Organisers are grateful to all the contributors, participants and support staff of the conference for their inputs and role which they played in making this event a great success. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the next ABC/D in autumn 2007.
