Amber Workshop 2003

From 14 to 16 April the College hosted the second common Baltic states workshop about high level and practical defence co-operation during the integration into NATO. The workshop director was the Chief of the Latvian Armed Forces Staff, Colonel Karlis Kreslins. The participants came from the Defence Ministries, Defence Staffs and Operational Staffs of the three states. The discussions covered legal as well as practical issues. The success of the workshop very much rested on the very active participation of Brigadier General K. E. Nielsen (Danish Army), the Chief of Staff of the Multinational Corps Northeast in Szczecin, Poland.
