On the 3rd of October H.E. Estonian Minister of Defence Mr Sven Mikser awarded Baltic Defence College Directing Staff members LtCol (GS) Klaus Peter Lohmann and Professor Ole Kværnø Baltic Defence College Service Crosses.

LtCol (GS) Klaus Peter Lohmann was given the Baltic Defence College Service Cross for his valuable service as a member of the College Directing Staff responsible for tactics and especially for having developed and maintained so high a quality level of teaching since January 4, 1999.

Professor Ole Kværnø was given the Baltic Defence College Service Cross for his valuable service as a member of the College Directing Staff in the position of the Head of Department of strategy and political studies and especially for having built up an internationally acclaimed high level of academic activities in the College since August 1998.
