BALTDEFCOL workshop on ‘Russian (dis)information operations’

Today, the Baltic Defence College hosted a workshop focusing on ‘Russian (dis)information operations’, especially those aimed against the West and the Baltic states more specifically. The event brought together the Baltic Defence College’s students and faculty with academics, practitioners, officers, journalists and students from a plethora of various government institutions, universities and think tanks, to discuss Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian perspectives on Russia’s (dis)information effort.

Workshop was opened and participants coming from different Baltic States institutions were welcomed by the Dean of Baltic Defence College Dr Augustine Meaher. The event paves the way for the Baltic Defence College’s second large upcoming international conference on Russia, which will focus on countering Russian revisionism, to be held in February 2016.
