From August 15th to August 16th, BALTDEFCOL hosted the Planning Workshop in preparation for the fifth edition of the Command Senior Enlisted Leaders' Course (CSELC). For this purpose, the College hosted a meeting of the nucleus team to discuss the course's readiness and synchronise the efforts. Command Senior Enlisted Leaders' Course format has entered the final phase of preparations for the upcoming course conducted in Autumn 2023. The course staff was met and greeted by the Commandant of BALTDEFCOL Brigadier General (LTU Army) Alvydas Šiuparis. Commandant highlighted that the CSELC course is equally important as the other courses organised by BALTDEFCOL and looks forward to the course and its participants.
CSELC is a format dedicated to the top Non-commissioned Officers (NCOs) for service on the Strategic level alongside General and Flag Officers within a dynamic and complex Baltic Sea regional environment and beyond. The course brings together participants from NATO member nations alongside the Partner Nations, allowing them to share experiences and knowledge within purposely designed modules of the CSELC.
In his foreword to workshop participants, College Command Sergeant Major and Course Director of the CSEL Course CSM Alvydas Tamosiunas (LTU AF) emphasised the importance of teamwork and high quality in delivering the course. Command senior enlisted leaders are essential tools in developing international military culture and collectively making NCO corps stronger, especially in the current rapidly changing security situation.
BALTDEFCOL wishes the CSELC course leadership and external Module Coordinators the best of luck for the coming busy and challenging days and is looking forward to the successful delivery of CSELC 2023, which will take place in Autumn 2023.
