BCG meeting held in Tallinn

The spring Baltic Coordination Group (BCG) meeting chaired by Estonia was held on 30-31 March 2022 in Tallinn focusing on discussion about the College Lines of Effort. This meeting was attended by the members of the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) Management Group.

The BALTDEFCOL Framework Nations were represented by the Estonian Ministry of Defence and Defence Forces Headquarter, the Latvian Ministry of Defence and the National Armed Forces’ Joint Headquarter and representatives of the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence.

BCG meeting included discussions regarding BALTDEFCOL Annual Activity Plan 2023, education and research, budget and NATO nations’ contribution to College education.

BCG is a working level governance body referring to the Baltic Ministerial Committee and the Baltic Military Committee in relation to all questions linked to management and development of BALTDEFCOL. Its primary role is to review, evaluate and support BALTDEFCOL activities, use of resources and student administration.
