Bilateral agreement signed with NATO Energy Security Centre for Excellence
On the 21st November 2014, Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of the Baltic Defence College, visited the NATO Energy Security Centre for Excellence (ENSEC COE) to sign a bilateral agreement with ENSEC COE.
In line with the development of cooperation in accordance with mutual interests as well as for the purpose of establishing mutually beneficial association, Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas, Director of the NATO Centre of Excellence for Energy Security, and Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of the Baltic Defence College signed a Letter of Intent on Cooperation between the two organisations.
Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras specified that the Baltic Defence College is an institution where our future military and civilian leaders are being prepared to meet and deal with the challenges ahead. Energy Security as such has an important role to play within the education and it has to be an integral part of co-operative planning at all levels.
