The 2nd Central European Forum on Military Education was held at the BALTDEFCOL on 26-28 November 2008.

This time Central European Forum on Military Education brought together 21 military and civilians from military educational institutions from Eastern and Central European Countries of Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia

The Commandant of the BALTDEFCOL BG Gundars Abols opened the forum and in his speech highlighted that the forum creates a splendid opportunity to collectively develop alternative visions and scenarios of the future development of the environment of military education.

The commanding officers of military educational institutions shared their ideas and perspectives on Bologna process, accreditation and diploma supplement, ADL; it is on topics of common importance for all of military educational institutions in the field.
