On 27th January the Commandant Major General Andis Dilans accompanied by Military Assistant Major Liene Rozenberga represented the Baltic Defence College during the Change of Command of Latvian National Armed Forces (LNAF), taking place in the Joint Headquarters of LNAF in Riga.

The events marking the Chain of Command comprised 3 events: 1) the reception of the outgoing
Commander of LNAF LTG Raimonds Graube; 

2) the Change of Command Ceremony and 

3) the reception by incoming Commander of LNAF MG Leonids Kalninš.

The event was attended by various distinguished guests, like the Latvian State President Mr Raimonds Vejonis, Latvian Minister of Defence Mr Raimonds Bergmanis, Estonian Chief of Defence LTG Riho Terras, Lithuanian Chief of Defence LTG Vytautas Zukas, the Adjutant General of the US Michigan State MG Gregory J. Vadnais, several chairpersons of Latvian Saeima (Parliament) Commissions, as well as ambassadors and military attaches.
