During the Concluding Ceremony for the BALTDEFCOL Board, the College used the occasion to give its Course Director, the College Deputy Commandant, Colonel Olle Broman its Medal of Merit in Silver "for his total commitment to and successful work for the College, dramatically improving systems and procedures as well as leading the international benchmarking team in a way that brought credit to BALTDEFCOL".
