Cooperation agreement between the Baltic Defence College and the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence

On 13th April 2015 Ambassador Mr Jānis Kārkliņš, Director of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (NATO STRATCOM COE) visited the Baltic Defence College to sign a Letter of Intent between BALTDEFCOL and NATO STRATCOM COE.

The NATO STRATCOM COE delegation was welcomed by BALTDEFCOL Commandant Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, and members of the College's Management Group.

In line with the development of cooperation in accordance with mutual interests as well as for the purpose of establishing mutually beneficial association, Ambassador Mr Jānis Kārkliņš, Director of the NATO STRATCOM COE and Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of the Baltic Defence College signed a Letter of Intent on cooperation between the two institutions. Both parties agreed to exercise their best efforts to develop the areas of cooperation in common fields of competence with particular focus on strategic communications. The main areas of such cooperation include exchange of subject matter experts on various fields as well as mutual assistance on conferences, exercises, roundtable discussions, etc.
