Biography
Dr Ashley Roden-Bow is lecturer in Critical Thinking and Communication and acting director of the Department of Leadership at the Baltic Defence College. He holds a BA (Hons.) in British Politics and Legislative Studies, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a PhD in Political Philosophy, all from the University of Hull, UK. His doctoral research focussed on the concept of Being and its consequences for the political sphere in the works of Martin Heidegger, Søren Kierkegaard, Max Stirner and Andrew Seth Pringle-Pattison.
He teaches and supervises for the Joint Command and General Staff Course, the Civil Servants Course and the Higher Command Studies Course. Prior to working at the Baltic Defence College, he taught in Portugal and the United Kingdom.
