Biography

Dr. Kristina Prišmantaitė is Lecturer in Defence and Cyber Studies in the Department of Political and Strategic Studies at the Baltic Defence College. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, an M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Vytautas Magnus University and a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Manchester. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on the negotiations between EU institutions and the ‘Big Three’ in the establishment of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

Prior to joining the Baltic Defence College, she taught courses in International Politics and Comparative Politics at the University of Manchester.
