BiographyMatus Halas is Lecturer in Strategic Studies at the Department of Political and Strategic Studies at the Baltic Defence College. He holds a Bc. in European Studies and an Mgr. in Political Science from Comenius University in Bratislava. His Ph.D. in International Relations was awarded by Charles University in Prague. He is a member of the International Political Science Association and he previously taught at the Institute of European Studies and International Relations in Slovakia. His reader on political geography is the first book of its kind published in the former Czechoslovakia. |
