Dr. Mikkel Vedby Rasmussen

Biography
Dr Rasmussen is currently Head of Danish Institute of Military Studies. He has taught classes in foreign policy and strategic studies at the Royal Danish Defence Academy as well as the University of Copenhagen. He is also a visiting lecturer at the NATO Defence College.
In 2003 Dr Rasmussen was a member of the working group which wrote the Danish white paper on defence. He is a reviewer for Cambridge University Press, European Journal of International Relations and Cooperation and Conflict. Furthermore Dr Rasmussen is editor in chief for Copenhagen Political Studies Press and a member of the editorial board of the Danish research publication on strategic studies, Militært Tidsskrift, which has been published since 1871.
Dr Rasmussen is regularly interviewed in the Danish media. He is giving a sizeable number of public lectures and writes a column in the daily Berlingske Tidende.
