Estonia Celebrated Independence Day with Military Parade

The Baltic Defence College participated in Estonian Independence Day Parade on February 24th 2015 in Estonian border town Narva.

The Baltic Defence College colour guard consisted of Lt. Col. Antek Kasemaa, Lt. Col. Mathias Järvare, Lt. Col. Andrius Januškevičius, Lt. Col. Vents Lapsenbergs. The Baltic Defence College Commandant MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras attended the celebration as well.

The Republic of Estonia 97th anniversary parade was received by President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Riho Terras.

The parade had nearly 1,400 participants and over a hundred technical units. In addition to the Estonian entities the soldiers from Spain, the United States, United Kingdom, Latvia, Lithuania and the Netherlands participated in Estonia's Independence Day parade.
