The Joint Command and Staff Course 2003/2004 students started their exercise IRON FIST at BALTDEFCOL on Monday, November 3rd, 2003. The aim is to train their staff skills on MechBde level in delay operations. First week was planning phase in small groups as seen on the photos below.
All students and Directing Staff members travelled to the Kaunas area to have "ground phase" this week (November 10-14).
The Operations Department and HOD, Col(GS) Seppo Soikkeli FNDF, is responsible of the exercise, which will end after the students' individual test on November 18 at BALTDEFCOL.
