Information Operations and Cyber Defence Seminar 12 – 15 April 2010

As part of learning module 106 which covers Operational Trends and Future Developments for the Joint Command General Staff Course, a seminar on information operations and cyber defence was held 12 - 15 April 2010. Colonel Tim Heinemann, US Army (ret) and Captain Tom Doorey, US Navy (ret) of the Center for Civil Military Relations of the US Naval Postgraduate School, Colonel Steve Fisher, US Marine Corps (ret) of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory and Lieutenant Colonel Marco De Falco, Italian Air Force of the Cooperative Cyber Defence Center of Excellence made presentations. Outside participants in seminar included senior military officers and civilian officials for various agencies from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland and Austria. Funding for the seminar was partially provided by the Combating Terrorism Fellowship Program of the US Office of Secretary of Defense.
