This week, Baltic Defence College’s (BALTDEFCOL) students of the Joint Command and General Staff Course started the Module 7 – Planning and Execution of Operations. The aim of the educational module is to formulate comprehensive solutions for complex operational problems by developing and executing a viable joint operational plan.

Standard NATO operational planning procedures are followed by the students. They are using exercise scenario adopted and developed by the BALTDEFCOL's faculty. The module will culminate with an exercise „Joint Resolve 2018“ which will take place in March 2018. Several Subject Matter Experts from various countries and NATO Centres of Excellence are supporting both the theoretical part of the module and the planning and execution of the exercise.
