On Monday, April 9, Captain L. Varuolo, United States Army, was promoted to the rank of Major. Major Varuolo has spent the last 11 years in the Army and is a foreign area officer specializing in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Major Varuolo is a native of Wilton, Maine and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy.
