Roundtable "Quo Vadis Belarus?"

The post-presidential election’s political turmoil and social protests in Belarus converge into security concerns and substantial interest, especially in the closest neighborhood. There is a profound willingness in the Baltic states to ensure all necessary support or measures for the best possible settlement inside and outside neighboring Belarus. Thus, on September 16 Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) held a roundtable discussion “Quo Vadis Belarus?” to understand military, political, economic, and social trends in Belarus.

This event was organized and moderated by the BALTDEFCOL Faculty member Dr Sandis Šrāders. Within this virtual session, Dzianis Melyantsou (Minsk Dialogue Council on International Relations, Belarus’s Foreign Policy Programme, Coordinator) and Balazs Jarabik (Head of Political, Analysis and Coordination Department at European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine - EUAM Ukraine) shared their views and analysis about the current developments in Belarus to the college’s faculty and students as well as external audiences.
