Second Annual BALTDEFCOL Conference on Russia, 18th-19th February 2016

With its conferences on Russia, the Baltic Defence College hosts high-level discussions on regional security and defence issues, integrated within the context of its academic mission. Like the conference’s speakers and participants, the college’s students are coming from a range of nations. Therefore, the people present at the event benefit greatly from its diversity – interesting viewpoints are explored and tough questions are asked and answered.

The Baltic Defence College would not have been able to organise this ambitious conference on its own, thus we relied heavily on our strategic partners, the European Union Institute for Security Studies (Paris) and the NATO Defense College (Rome). The 2016 Conference was also co-organised in partnership with the Dahrendorf Forum (Berlin/London), International Centre for Defence and Security (Tallinn), Swedish National Defence University (Stockholm) and The Henry Jackson Society (London).
