The concluding BALTDEFCOL Board Meeting 24-25 November

24-25 November saw a very important milestone in the Baltic states' adoption of ownership of the Baltic Defence College. The College Board under its Swedish Chairman, Brigadier General Roland Ekenberg, had its concluding meeting on 24 November, and on the following day, the Baltic states representatives led by the Estonian Defence Minister, H.E. Mr Margus Hanson had the chance to thank the supporting states in a concluding ceremony. The project leading state, Sweden, honoured the Board by being represented by Björn von Sydow, now Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Defence Minister during most of the life of the College.

The Estonian Defence minister used the concluding ceremony to decorate Brigadier General Roland Ekenberg with the 2nd Class of the Cross of Merit of the Estonian Ministry of Defence.
