The European Security and Defence College ends in Tartu

On Friday, 19th April 2013, Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador to Estonia, His Excellency, Christopher Holtby OBE, gave the closing presentation to the Third Module of the High Level Course of the European Security and Defence College. His presentation was on British perspectives of the Common Security and Defence Policy, where he outlined the way in which the United Kingdom has been an active participant in the effort to reform, refine and bolster European military capabilities, operational capacity and strategic reach.

Overall, through collaboration with the United Kingdom’s Joint Services Command and Staff College, the Baltic Defence College has met its objective, namely to ensure that European Security and Defence College’s High Level Course’s Third Module was a resounding success, with participants having been well-versed in the operational history and capacity of the European Union’s Common Security and Defence Policy.

The Baltic Defence College looks forward to future collaboration with both the European Security and Defence College and the United Kingdom’s Joint Services Command and Staff College.
