Visit by Chairman of European Union Military Committee

BALTDEFCOL was honoured by the visit of Chairman of the European Union Military Committee General Patrick de Rousiers on 28 March.

General Rousers’ paid a visit to BALTDEFCOL during which the high level guest was welcomed by BALTDEFCOL Commandant Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras. During the office call BALTDEFCOL Commandant gave the EU official a thorough overview of BALTDEFCOL, and its courses, priorities and future plans.

The meeting was followed by General Rousers’ lecture "European Union. Military Aspects" to the Joint Command and General Staff Course 2013/2014 and Civil Servants Course 2014. His lecture culminated with active round of questions and answers where the audience used the opportunity to engage the distinguished speaker in an open discussion.
