Visit by Chief of General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces

Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) was honoured by the visit of the Chief of General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze on 28 October 2014.

The high level guest had an office call with BALTDEFFCOL Commandant Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras during which he expressed his gratitude to the Georgian CHOD for the visit and cooperation. Chief of General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze, accompanied by Commander of Estonian Armed Forces Major General Riho Terras, had a meeting with BALTDEFCOL Commandant MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Deputy Commandant/Chief of Staff COL Axel Pfaffenroth, Joint Command and General Staff Course and Civil Servants Course COL Remigijus Baltrenas and Dean Dr Augustine Meaher.

The Georgian CHOD was briefed on BALTDEFCOL activities and courses. The meeting provided both parties with an excellent opportunity to exchange views and ideas about current and future engagements.
The programme at the College continued with Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze’s exceptional lecture to the Officers of the JCGSC.

Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze was in BALTDEFCOL in the framework of a working visit to Estonia.
