On 21st of February, Colonel Robert Bala, Director of NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence (NATO CI COE) paid a visit to Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL). He was welcomed by the Deputy Commandant/Chief of Staff, Colonel Jean Trudel and members of the College Management Group.

The visit started with a presentation on BALTDEFCOL. COL Bala received a briefing on College’s history, mission, current activities and future developments as well as its education system. Afterwards, COL Bala gave an overview of the tasks and responsibilities of NATO CI COE.

The presentations were followed by an active questions & answers session that provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and share practices, especially in educational domain. During the visit, COL Trudel and COL Bala also discussed potential future cooperation between the two organisations.
