On 9th of April, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) had the honour to host H.E. Mr Giedrius Apuokas, Ambassador of Lithuania to Estonia. The high-level guest was welcomed by the Commandant of BALTDEFCOL, Major General Andis Dilāns accompanied by the members of College Management Group.

The visit started with an office call with MG Dilāns. It was followed by a presentation on BALTDEFCOL’s history, vision and mission, courses, ongoing developments and upcoming major milestones. The discussion was focused on the role of the BALTDECOL as a successful project of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania recognizing its future potential to support the education of military and civilian students to enhance their knowledge and to share experiences.

The official programme of the visit was concluded with Mr Apuokas’ meeting with Lithuanian staff members and students at BALTDEFCOL.
