H.E. Ms Frances Kiernan, Ambassador of Ireland to Estonia, visited the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) on 27th of March 2019.

After the welcome address by Major General Andis Dilāns, Commandant of BALTDEFCOL, the visit continued with briefings by the leadership of BALTDEFCOL. Ms Kiernan received a general overview of the historical background, mission and tasks of the College and learned about the various courses and related activities conducted at the BALTDEFCOL. She expressed great interest in the delivery of education by BALTDEFCOL as a multinational professional military education institution.

The visit proved to be a valuable opportunity for exchange of ideas and engaging discussions.
