On 4th December, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) hosted a visit by H.E. Ms Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard, Ambassador of Denmark to Estonia. Her Excellency was welcomed by the Commandant, Major General Andis Dilāns and the members of College Management Group.

The visit started with an office call followed by the meeting and BALTDEFCOL briefing session led by Deputy Commandant/ Chief of Staff Colonel Jean Trudel. H.E. Ms Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard was given a thorough presentation on the College’s history, its vision, mission, strategic goals and main lines of effort as well as previous cooperation between the College and Denmark and future perspective. Today’s visit was Ambassador’s first time at the Baltic Defence College. Denmark was one of founding nations of the College and the first Command was Danish Brigadier General Michael Clemmesen.
