On 3 December, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) had the opportunity to warmly welcome the Ambassador of Lithuania to Estonia, H.E. Ms Gitana Skripkaitė.
Her Excellency was greeted by the Commandant of the BALTDEFCOL, Brigadier General Alvydas Šiuparis, accompanied by the Lithuanian National Representative, Lieutenant Colonel Tomas Stankevičius, and Military Assistant, Major Darius Černiauskas.
During the visit, Ambassador Skripkaitė received a general overview of the historical background, mission, and tasks of the College and learned about the various courses and academic activities conducted at the BALTDEFCOL. During the meeting, various aspects of Lithuanian support to the College were discussed, including the outstanding assistance provided to our Senior Leaders' Course held in Vilnius during November.
Ambassador Skripkaitė submitted her credentials to the President of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis, in September 2025. This was her first visit to BALTDEFCOL.
