Visit by Mayor of Tartu

The Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) was honoured by the visit of Mr. Urmas Klaas, the Mayor of Tartu on 27th of October.

Mr. Klaas had a meeting with MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of the Baltic Defence College, COL Axel Pfaffenroth Deputy Commandant/Chief of Staff and Mr. Augustine Meaher IV, Dean.
MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras expressed his appreciation to the Mayor of Tartu for the support.

The Mayor of Tartu was briefed on BALTDEFCOL activities and courses. The meeting provided to BALTDEFCOL and to Tartu City Government an excellent opportunity to exchange views and ideas about the future engagements.

Mr. Klaas took office as Mayor of Tartu in 2014. This was his first visit to BALTDEFCOL.
