On February 29th, the Deputy Director of the Marshall Center, Mr. James Q Roberts visited the Baltic Defence College. Mr. Roberts addressed the students of Joint Command and General Staff Course (JCGSC) a lecture on “The diplomatic instrument in counterinsurgency”. During his visit to the college Mr. Roberts had also a meeting with the Commandant. The main topics under discussion were the expansion of co-operation between BDCOL and the Marshall Center, and exchange of guest lecturers and knowledge of evaluation methods of studies. Among other issues, continuing close contacts and work towards arranging possible visits were agreed on.
