Visit by National General Staff Course of Führungsakademie Hamburg

On 25 March BALTDEFCOL hosted the visit from the German Führungsakademie Hamburg. The delegation of the National General Staff Course of Führungsakademie Hamburg was accompanied by the German Defence Attaché LTC Axel Pfaffenroth.

The aim of the already annual visit by the nine officers of the General Staff Course officers and one faculty member was to have an insight into the educational activities, history and overall proceedings of BALTDEFCOL.

The program of the German delegation started with attending the JCGSC/CSC lecture “Lead the Institution/Organization” by Dr Brian Watters, lecturer and researcher at Cranfield University. Afterwards BALTDEFCOL Management Group represented by Commandant MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Acting Chief of Staff COL Igors Rajevs, Course Director of JCGSC/CSC and Course Director HCSC COL Andrej Boičisin gave the Germans a thorough brief on different aspects of the College, which was followed by a discussion on the academic part in courses’ curricula.
