Visit by President of Centre for Defence Higher Studies of Italy

The Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) management was honoured by the visit of Vice Admiral Rinaldo Veri, the President of the Centre for Defence Higher Studies (Centro Alti Studi Difesa , CASD) of Italy on 16 October.

Vice Admiral Rinaldo Veri, accompanied by BG Filippo Camporesi, Defence Attaché to Estonia and Professor De Robertis, CASD advisor, had a meeting with MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of Baltic Defence College and part of the Management Group consisting of COL Axel Pfaffenroth, Deputy Commandant, COL Igors Rajevs Course Director of Higher Command Studies Course, and LTC Mart Mikkelsaar, Director of Support.

The Italian delegation was briefed on Baltic Defence College courses and activities. The meeting provided BALTDEFCOL and CASD with an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas about possible future cooperation between the two academic institutions.
