Today students and instructors of the Air Force Command and Staff Course (AFCSC) led by LTC Ovidijus Pilitauskas, a Course Director, paid a working visit to the Baltic Defence College. The course consists of Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian officers who are currently educated at the ‘General Jonas Žemaitis’ Military Academy of Lithuania, and the visit is a constituent of the course curriculum within a study trip through all three Baltic nations.
The AFCSC officers were introduced to the College mission and educational courses along with other academic activities within respective curricula. Special attention and detailed information were delivered with respect to the Joint Command and General Staff Course as the next step in the development of their professional education and an important step during their military careers.
The visit proved to be an essential part of a better understanding of the focus of education delivered by the Military Academy of Lithuania and BALTDEFCOL.
