Visit by the Ambassador of Ireland

Today, on 05th of May, 2016, the Irish Ambassador to Estonia H.E. Mr Frank Flood visited the Baltic Defence College.

The Commandant of the college together with the Chief of Staff were delighted to introduce the Ambassador to the college’s vision, its mission, strategic goals and lines of effort, and to engage in a conversation on establishing a cooperation between the college and the Defence Forces of the Republic of Ireland. “I hope my visit will help to strengthen ties between the College and the Irish Defence Forces to our mutual benefit,” wrote the Ambassador in his entry to our guest book.

Today’s official visit was the first time ever for Irish Ambassador to visit the Baltic Defence College. Ambassador Frank Flood became the Ambassador of Ireland accredited to Estonia in September 2014.
